Flesh mob
Imagine that you are walking across the street and suddenly you notice that people around begin to do unusual movement like the robots. It lasts for about three minutes, after that people return to their businesses as if nothing had happened. You feel that you are a little bit crazy as the short performance seems to be too unreal to happen in reality. But do not worry, it is a planned action. It is flesh mob. This invention was started by a book of Howard Rheingold in 2003. Flesh mob is a social event that is planed in the internet by the representaives of some community. They set the scenario of the event, the time and place to carry out their plan. In the certain time many people get together at the same place and make some scenario with the serious faces, after that they leave the place. No words, no smiling, no continuation. This game is not connected with the politics or economcs. The participants usually do not know each other in person. But they achive the main goal of flesh mob – relaxation.
My honest opinion is that it is a very positive tendency in a society. Frst of all, such unusual entertaiment is a chance to relax and receive positive supply of energy while you feel tired and disapponted for some reasons. In addtioons, the internet flesh mob unites different people. A flesh mob party is a popular event as well. A participant accepts a chance to check his/her ability to be more open and liberated. So, I give my voice "for" the postive tendencies in a society. And you?
