Spam
Spammers are one more group of the companies and people who used to irritate in the most cases. Spam is a new notion, much younger in comparison with the internet. During the early ninety, the first case of spam was marked.
Spam is the information which holds an advertisement character. The most interesting feature of it is that nobody expects spam. In general, it is not-desirable information. Usually in such a way the spammers advertise the wasted products, drugs, entertainments, the services which are forbidden to advertise openly (for example, illegal drugs or pornography). As for me, I try to remember all the time that spamming is a progressive and well-organized structure which is created for some unpleasant purposes. First of all, the spammers learn the tastes and needs of the audience in order to receive the personal information. For example, you click the link of the new fashionable lingerie advertisement and "give" your personal e-mail address to those people who are interested to use your e-mail and password. That is why it is firmly recommended not to follow the links in the spam letters and especially it is better not to identify your passwords in the requests, even if these requests are made from a bank or a company you work for. Do not be lazy and give a call to check why they need your personal data.
The links, the "happiness letters", small-sized Microsoft Word and Excel documents or Rar/Zip attachments could be the containers of the viruses. If somebody proposes you to check the link in order to receive more information, keep yourself calm as the link could be just a program which collects the e-mail addresses. If you feel pity as for your wasted time, filtration is the only way to fight spam – it can be made automatically or by hand.
